This is the final pass of a character i've spent 3 years attempting to perfect, the textures while simple are 2k resolution and the polycount sits at a somewhat high 72k, this allows for smoother edges on the various markings across the characters body and the deformation during animation to remain clean.

whilst its taken this long to perfect, this model took only 4 days to complete, with modeling done in Maya and rigging completed in Blender, Textures were then painted in Substance 3d Painter using basic flat materials to allow a toon like lighting system to hold up.

The character itself is an original design taking inspiration from various sources such as the Jak and Daxter series and Legend of Zelda franchise, and is meant to resemble a downtrodden space elven warrior fighting for survival with procured weaponry from the environment.
